June 21st. Summer time is here. It's the longest day of the year. Music festivals are taking place everywhere. It is time for vacations, fun and enjoyable moments with family, friends, sharing music, food, sun... The warmest season of the year is coming.

A warm period is coming for earth too. Global climate change. Sure, you've heard of it. It is now to late to be pessimistic. It's now time to act individually, to think globally. According to scientists, there are 10 years left to change our visions and behaviours. Industrial processes are responsible for 25% of carbon emissions. 75% of carbon emissions come from heating homes, transport...

We have one HOME. What kind of environment do we want for next generations?

Concerned about global warming? What should we do now?

A main principle is to do things that yield a better cost savings or are neutral:

• improve energy efficiency and energy sources
• look at your household energy consumption
• replace light bulbs with fluorescents or LEDs when they burn out
• adjust the thermostat when nobody is home

The challenge is to live better with less. It's enjoyable, try it and have a happy summer!
